Historic Rockwell Museum, Rockwell NC
Details: Historic Rockwell Museum will host an exhibit honoring the 100th anniversary of Boy Scouting. There will be displays, uniforms, badges, books and manuals from past and present. Any person who has ever been in scouting or had a son in scouting will want to come.
The grand opening will be on Sunday, May 16 from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m., with refreshments being served.
The exhibit will continue to be open each Sunday through June, from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. Anyone may call Jean Puckett at 704-279-4979 to make an appointment to see the exhibit outside of our Sunday hours.

Details: Narrated Tours of Historic Salisbury are available on Saturdays April through October *. There are two narrated tours are offered each Saturday by experienced guides. Tours start at 11 am and 1 pm.

Tours are available for interested groups on weekdays during the year if pre-arranged. Contact Melissa Murges at the Rowan County Convention & Visitors Bureau for rates.

2010 Salisbury Sculpture Show Discover What’s Outside

Details: Nineteen multi-media sculptures by artists from 8 states will be on display throughout the downtown until December 30. Each piece will be placed to best compliment its location within the historic downtown. A walking tour of the locations, starting at the Visitors Center will be a delight to students of art and history alike.
