Newly renovated Days Inn, conveniently situated off of I-85 at Exit 75, welcomes groups of up to 250 in the 2,600 square foot exhibit/banquet area.  This area can also be divided to host smaller breakout spaces for groups of 10 to 100.  Hotel offers space for small meetings, reunions, receptions and entertaining.

Located in Downtown Salisbury, the Waterworks Visual Arts center offers exciting and enriching opportunities in art for all citizens of Rowan County through exhibitions, education, and outreach programs. Accredited by the American Association of Museums, Waterworks exhibitions revolve throughout the year featuring a wide range of nationally & regionally recognized artists. Revolving exhibitions feature interesting and powerful sculptures. Visitors are welcome to do research or read in the Dula Art Library. Galleries are open Tuesday through Saturday 10-5. Office hours are Monday-Friday 9-5 Closed major holidays. Free admission. Donations appreciated.

A sophisticated, turn-of-the-century restored stage theater provides seating for 361 participants.  Amenities such as performance theater lighting and sound system are available.  Only one block from the Historic Downtown Salisbury square and surrounded by a variety of shops and eateries.  Free group parking.

Small meetings are perfect for the Seth Murdock Auditorium at the Center.  Featuring a large open space with draped stage area, the theater will accommodate 170 dining and 200 theater style.  The auditorium can be divided into three sections for smaller meetings, with 30 to 50 people in each section.  Catering kitchen and free on-site parking available.

Located in the heart of the West Square Historic District and just two blocks from Historic Downtown Salisbury, the Library is an excellent choice for smaller meetings and conferences.  The Hurley Room seats up to 45 in either theater or classroom arrangement.  For audiovisual and lecture presentations, the Stanback Auditorium hosts up to 120 in theater seating with the option of classroom seating.

Livingstone College

Located 1 mile from the downtown area in the Livingstone Historic District, this charming private college campus offers a variety of venues.  From Varick Auditorium, seating 1,400, and Tubman Theater, seating 300, to classrooms providing alternative space for up to 100, Livingstone is ideal for meetings and receptions.  Sporting facilities also available.

The picturesque campus offers a variety of options for meetings and conventions.  The Tom Smith Auditorium provides classroom seating for groups of 20-50, accommodating 154.  Keppel Auditorium seats 1,500, Hedrick Little Theater provides seating for 250 and the Crystal Lounge accommodates up to 225 for receptions, dining or lectures.  Catering facilities are available. Sporting facilities also available.

Built in 1854 as the third Rowan County Courthouse and currently the home of the Rowan Museum, this Greek Revival structure boasts an elegant ballroom on the second floor with a beautiful chandelier and a third floor balcony.  With its graceful ambiance, the ballroom is perfect for receptions and entertaining for groups of up to 150. While renovations to the building are anticipated, the ballroom is currently only accessible by stairs.
