Rail Walk Art District
The Rail Walk art district features the Looking Glass Collective whose members include visual artists, musicians, actors, writers and dancers. Rail Walk Studios has an array of individual artists working in mediums from sculpture to fine art, watercolor and oils.

Salisbury-Rowan County features several North Carolina art galleries, such as Green Goat Gallery, The Art Station, and Fine Frame Gallery, specializing in local and regional artists. Description: Located in Downtown Salisbury, the Waterworks Visual Arts Center offers exciting and enriching opportunities in art for all citizens of Rowan County through exhibitions, education, and outreach programs. Accredited by the American Association of Museums, Waterworks exhibitions revolve throughout the year featuring a wide range of nationally & regionally recognized artists. The three Sensory Gardens feature interesting and powerful sculptures. Visitors are welcome to do research or read in the Dula Art Library. Galleries are open Monday through Friday 10-5, Thursday evenings until 7 pm; Saturday 10 am - 4 pm. Closed major holidays. Admission is FREE. Office hours are Mon-Fri 9-5.
