Lee Street Theatre
Address: 405 N. Lee Street, Salisbury, NC 28144
Description: Lee Street Theatre performs in the Black Box at the Looking Glass Artists Collective, located in Salisbury’s Rail Walk Arts Districts. Lee Street Theatre (LST) was formed for two reasons: to mount original work by local writers, composers, and dancers and to perform existing work that is experimental in nature and therefore unlikely to be produced by other Salisbury companies. LST is proud of what its productions are able to do for the community and beyond: they allow budding playwrights to see their work come to full fruition; they present those who have never performed on stage before with an opportunity to try their hands at it; and they provide another avenue for artists in the Salisbury area to showcase and hone their talents.
