Public Art Committee

The Public Art Committee advises the Salisbury City Council on behalf of the board on matters relating to public art. The committee functions are to:

  • Advise the city regarding the implementation of the Public Art Policy approved by the City Council.
  • Review proposals for public art projects brought to it and make recommendations to the City Council with regard to project approvals.

The Public Art Committee is responsible for reviewing, advocating, and developing public art projects in the public domain for the City of Salisbury. It will develop a formal structure in which to create, develop, and maintain public art as well as further public accessibility to the arts.  The Committee also maintains and produces the Annual Salisbury Sculpture Show.

PAC meetings are held the second Thursday of the month at 8:30 a.m. in the Gateway Building, 204 E. Innes St.
