The weather is heating up, and so is our events calendar! Join in the fun this June in Rowan County for an assortment of events for families, beer and wine lovers, curious historians, and patrons of the arts.


Rowan Arts & Ag Farm Tour: The 2nd annual Rowan Arts & Ag Farm Tour offers a rare chance to experience the county’s rich farm heritage and vibrant arts culture. This two-day, self-guided tour allows visitors to experience 12 Rowan County farms, as well as 3 additional agricultural tour stops. Along the way you’ll find working artists exhibiting their talents.

Pops at the Post: The Salisbury Post and the Salisbury Symphony Orchestra are proud to present their annual free concert. This year’s event will be held at the North Carolina Transportation Museum.

Family Fun Day at Waterworks: Waterworks Visual Arts Center's Family Fun Day is a free, multi-cultural event to celebrate Salisbury and Rowan County. The day will be filled with live music, dance and rap performances, demonstrations and art stations for all ages.

Fire Truck Festival: The North Carolina Transportation Museum’s annual Fire Truck Festival represents the largest gathering of fire trucks in the state of North Carolina. The festival allows the public to meet firemen, get a close up look at equipment and vote for their favorite fire truck.
