Spring is one of our favorite times of the year in Rowan County. It means farmer's markets are opening, our road side produce stands are bustling, and it's time to visit our pick your own farms!

Things have been a little crazy, but we're ready to enjoy the sweet things in life, like Patterson Farm strawberries! Patterson Farm's pick your own field is opening on May 1. In order to best protect visitors, Patterson Farm will be requiring visitors to make an appointment for pick your own before arriving at the farm. They are offering several different ticket options which allow for access to the pick your own fields, as well as the spring time activities. There are also fun farm add ons like busket containers, strawberry lemonade, kettle corn and more.

While you're at the farm be sure to visit the market for local products, play at Pawpaw Carl's playground, visit the animals in the barnyard, take a ride on the cow barrel train, explore the treasure mine and so much more! Find information about all of their activities on their website.

Patterson Farm is open Monday – Saturday 9 a.m. – 6 p.m. and Sunday 12 a.m. – 6 p.m.

If you want to get your hands on some Patterson Farm strawberries, but don't want to pick your own, visit one of their satellite stands or drive through for pre picked berries!

We hope you are as excited as us about strawberry season! We're ready to give it another go and can't wait to see you when you #VisitRowanCounty
