The last year has been tough, but our Rowan County original restaurants are tougher. As dining rooms continue to reopen, we want to highlight a few of the many local restaurants that make our destination an original place to visit and eat. We’ve created a series of some of our many favorite original restaurants in Rowan County. Up next, Shuckin' Shack Oyster Bar.
Shuckin' Shack Oyster Bar opened in Downtown Salisbury with a vision of becoming a local establishment that would appeal to people of all ages. They aim to be a place where family and friends can come together to celebrate the big moments and the small moments. They pride themselves on their oysters and shrimp, but they're more than a seafood restaurant. They serve fresh meals and creative cocktails in a relaxing environment. They enjoy serving locals and tourists, whether they're searching for local history, or just a place to watch a major sporting event on the big screens.
You can find Shuckin' Shack at 118 N. Main Street in Downtown Salisbury. Their hours are Monday - Wednesday 4-9 p.m., Thursday 12 - 8 p.m., Friday - Saturday 12 - 10 p.m. and Sunday 12 - 9 p.m. You can also find them on Facebook.
