Sloan Park: Sloan Park is home to the Historic Kerr Mill. Kerr Gristmill was once the provider of flour and cornmeal for inhabitants of western Rowan County. The milling equipment and artifacts once used to produce the flour and cornmeal are now on display for park visitors to explore and learn about the milling process. Eagle Point Nature Preserve: Eagle Point Nature Preserve is a 200 acre natural area on a remote park of High Rock Lake in Rowan County. The park provides ideal vistas of the lake and wildlife observation points that are perfect for plant identification, bird watching and wildlife spotting. Bonus: Bell Tower Green Park: The Bell Tower Green Park is coming soon to the heart of Downtown Salisbury. This park will consume an entire city block and provide ample space for playing and relaxing. The park will be conveniently located just across the street from the Rowan Public Library, making it the ideal location to relax with a good book and learn something new!
