This Annual Festival attracts more than 45,000 visitors from across Rowan County and the state. Held the first weekend in October, the Autumn Jubilee celebrates the season with live music, food, and craft vendors. This year's festivities will be held on Saturday, October 6, and Sunday, October 7, from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. at Dan Nicholas Park.
Spread out in this beautiful 450 acre park will be over 180 handcrafted crafters from throughout the southeast with their quality handmade wares. Crafts will include woodcraft, framed prints, ceramics, folk art, fabric crafts, quilts, leathercraft, bird houses, home made soaps, quilts, baby items and many more beautiful crafts. Music, food and lots of stuff for the kids.
Children and adults can enjoy the festival and park by riding three miniature trains, visiting the Hurley Train Station, riding a beautiful carousel, take a paddleboat ride or play some miniature golf on our ADA mini golf course and gem mining for either gems or sharks teeth. Be sure to go visit the Wildlife Adventure Center and the T.M. Stanback Petting Barn. The children can visit our Children's Area where they can have their face painted by our great artist.
