St. Patrick's Dinner Train at NC Transportation Museum

  • 411 S. Salisbury Ave., Spencer, NC 28159

Wear something green and bring your Irish cheer for a St. Patrick’s Day-themed dinner and train ride around our historic site featuring wine and craft beers, all brought to you by the N.C. Transportation Museum Foundation.

The St. Patrick’s Train will offer guests a Happy (Half) Hour of appetizers, wine and beer in the museum before boarding the train. Dinner will be served as you roll down the tracks, enjoying a full Irish meal of pulled pork and a chicken drumstick, mashed potatoes, corn on the cob, and glazed carrots with Irish soda bread, finishing off with a Guinness cupcake topped with Bailey’s frosting. Those aboard the train will also take home a souvenir glass beer mug!

Passengers will dine aboard the No. 492 Diner car or the Moultrie passenger car, both featuring comfortable table seating.
