This is one of a series of workshops for teenagers ages 14-17, hosted by the Center for the Environment at Catawba College. Trees are among the oldest living things on the planet. Forests are fascinating and complex ecosystems that are a stabilizing force for the climate. Join us to learn more about resilient tree species, urban forestry, and important forest management practices that can be used in your own neighborhood to promote forest sustainability where you live.
