Rowan County has a long-standing tradition of kicking off the holiday season with holiday parades! Rowan County has four original parade opportunities for your family to celebrate the joy of the coming season.
Jump start the holiday season with the Southern Rowan Christmas Parade! The parade will be held the Tuesday before Thanksgiving, and begins in Landis at 3 p.m. and will arrive in China Grove at 4 p.m.
The newest Rowan County holiday tradition, the ‘Tis the Season Spectacular, will be held the Wednesday before Thanksgiving. The parade will travel through main street of Downtown Spencer at 2 p.m. and make it’s way through main street of Downtown Salisbury at 3 p.m. Seats can be purchased for viewing the parade at the Rowan County Tourism Development Authority inside of the Gateway Building in Downtown Salisbury. This year’s parade is sponsored by FoodLion and will present musical acts, floats, special guests and more!
The Cleveland Lions Club will host their 46th annual Cleveland Christmas Parade. The parade has traditionally showcased local folks and activities who are proud of their community. The parade still allows horses and the tossing of candy – don’t miss out on a classic experience! The parade begins at 2 p.m. and will take place in Downtown Cleveland.
The 80th annual Kannapolis Christmas Parade will begin at 6 p.m. at the intersection of Main St. and Dale Earnhardt Blvd. and travel through the streets of Downtown Kannapolis. This year’s parade is presented by Cannon Pharmacy.
